Does anyone know how to use this?!
I WANT RIVIPSP ON MY COMPUTER!!!
And what would you do with it?
Not necessarily the end of the discussion. He's not requesting it, he's requesting help in downloading it, and depending on his purpose with it we're more than willing to help.
Well, I'd just like to play it because although I own RiviPSP, I don't own a PSP.
I have tried downloading it to my flash drive as a zipped file. I brought the flash drive home and extracted the files. Then I opened BitTorrent and tried to download the .rar file, and it wouldn't download. It did the same thing when I tried to do Riviera: The Full Arranged Soundtrack, and anything else I try!
What the hell?
A) That is not a situation under which we would help you.
B) We're going to help you anyways; you can't play RiviPSP on your computer.
A) Because that would fall under the category of "piracy"
B) Because there are no (decent, or even mediocre) PSP emulators, and there won't be for a long time.
Oh, that sux.
Yeah, the last time I checked, PSP emulators could only run homebrew applications.
Download and install utorrent
Check the Options -> Preferences -> Connection and look at the listening port.
Forward the port ( http://www.portforward.com for help )
Download torrent
Leave it running
???
Profit
How does an ordinary Torrent work anyway? I had uTorrent and I downloaded some music. Seems to take longer. Why?
Probably because the seed to leech ratio was suckish.
Basically, the ratio of uploaders (seeds) to the number of downloaders (leechers) wasn't in your favor.
Read up on torrents if you want to know more.

But frankly, it's easier to find and download stuff with google anyway.
Decent current-gen emulators don't exist yet. I learnt that the hard way after spending an hour trying to get a KITN rom to run (I already have a preorder down for the NA version, so I technially do own it). Wait for the new PSP to be announced, then the price for the current one will fall like a rock.
EDIT: Oh, and for BitTorrent, do you have security software? That's what trips up my uTorrent. Go into the software and let BitTorrent access all ports (DO NOT set all ports to open. That's letting your guard down completely. Set it so only that application can access them, or even better, just the specific ports it needs. For those, check the documentation.)
