Its not episode 9. Its a prequel to Yggdra Union.

Look at the picture and gameplay, it looks very similar to Yggdra Union.

You control Garlot, leader of the corps, on a series of campaigns against the evil empire, the story branching this way or that depending on your decisions."

Yes, and what I mean is, the fact it's a Prequel to Yggdra Union, it means that it's PART OF THE DEPT. HEAVEN SERIES right? <_<

But, why would they make a similar title again. Also they said episode 9 was going to be their first 3D game and it would be on the DS.

Not sure if the title matters but I just found out it's being developed by another team in STING so it's probably not part of it, but idk.

If it follows YU standards, then that fencer isn't a girl. Classes are gender-locked I think in YU.
On a side note, stop this, Sting. Start releasing games I actually want to buy again. :<

They weren't cheap! Yggdra Unison was $60 while Yggdra Union PSP was $20. Also, so many games to buy for me! I already bought Yggdra Unison but then there is Knights in the Nightmare PSP and Blaze Union! GAH!!!
I'll just wait till they get localized or something...

Yeah, like, I'm pretty sure I spent at least $40 every time I bought a PSP version of YU.
Also, that knight doesn't look effeminate. He just looks horrible. :( However, me being me and YU being my favoritest DHE game so far, I will play it, and I will enjoy it, because I love YU's battles.

This is the first time they've done it, unless you count the PSP version. Yggdra Unison had a completely different system.
Also, Hexyz Force is actually pretty fun (and definitely not as generic as it looked, gameplay-wise). Well, it is if you can get over the terrible warp puzzle that shows up early in the game, anyway...

Also why are there people running around in 18th century clothing (like this enemy commander with the long coat and the jabot or those two... cowboy people)? This kind of ruins the credibility of the Late Mediaeval setting. :(

2nd that. YU is completely medieval. Adding Napoleonic and Revolutionary clothes really spoil the game, especially for a prequel of YU! DX BTW, nice one on that mitotic process! Or maybe meiotic with differentiation? XD Classic!

They added character information, a wallpaper, some stuff you can put in websites or something and a link to the blog which isn't finished.
If you click on the first card on the main page and enter 17174 you can hear Garlot say something and then his battle sprite will be on every other page of the site... I don't know what the point of this is.
