Saw episode one for FateStay Night the other day. It was very cool :) i'll gladly explain what I know about the storyline if people are interested here.

Yep. It's set in present day, and the main character (Emiya Shirou), finds out that he is a Sorcerer, bound to the fate of the battle for the "Holy Grail". He is to be a "Master", which is a person that controls one of the seven "servants". His servant is named Saber. She's a human girl with a really cool transparent sword. There are six other characetrs that get servants as well, some friends, others foes. Even then, all seven are fated to battle each other, as there can only be one that receives the "Holy Grail". Emiya Shirou doesn't really want to, but he ahs no choice when he gets attacked by a servant named "Lancer".

I like the show, its really cool. My best friend loves it, so I'm going to keep watching it. Archer is sexy. I dont' like Emiya though.

Her servant is kinda of a contradiction, though...a cute little girl behind some 10 foot tall ogre beast... xD.
I think Saber looks awesome though, I want to see episode two now.

You might have seen the words "Nothing special" next to a few of them. That means that there is nothing special about their designs, and are not (physically) interesting because of that.

I think that was a fluke. I remember many times when they referred to Haku was a woman. I guess I should rewatch to back that up, but who cares. The other one is still true though.

Unfortunately, I believe the game requires the actual CD to work. I tried downloading it once and couldn't get it to work.
Not that I know any Japanese to be able to read it. >>

Update: The download works. It's in Japanese, so you will need a translation. I found one, but I have to test it.
EDIT: There's a Trial Translation out. I have both Japanese and English ones. If you know or have a .txt translation of both Tsukihime and Fate-Stay Night, tell me.

If the 1st season ends with 12 episodes, then the whole series end with 24 episodes. If it ends with 13, then it'll be 26 in all.

Rider didn't get pwned. Neither did Saber.
Rider was definitely overpowered, but neither or them really trounced the other. It pretty much came down to the last draw (or, without the simile, the last ultra-giga-hyper explosion of doom and unicorns and mythical swords).

As for the topic- I think it might be because I read the original FSN VN, I did not feel that the ending was off cause it was sort of "hinted" while I was reading on the original VN. Yeah, I sort of knew that there was no way the UBW movie could be good. I don't remember why I decided to watch it anyway, but it was a mistake. On the bright side, it made so little sense to me that I really only remember something about Rin and Lancer inexplicably hanging out in lava that they previously avoided because... it's lava. That probably never actually happened, either.
ANYWAY I FINALLY WATCHED EPISODE 1. So much nostalgia. Shirou's still Shirou, Shinji's still a jerk, I still dislike Sakura, and I wonder if Ayako Kawasumi is sick of being Saber yet. I also watched episode 0/the prologue thing and enjoyed that a lot more. Probably because it was less of a moredetailedandprettier retread of things I've already seen before and more LET'S HAVE RIN AND ARCHER BE TSUNDERE TO EACH OTHER FOR 40 MINUTES. I hope things will be more like 0 than 1 for the rest of the series. Although that won't matter as much when things start moving away from things I know about.
How does Rin even handle DST? :(
