Lacrima Castle _ Riviera Game Help _ rhythm traps!

Posted by: ngaurhoth1 Nov 10 2008, 01:55 AM

I'm going on my second playthrough, and I want to get more of the experience I missed like purifying the skull in lacrima castle.
Howevery rhythm traps keep getting me!
I mean how do they work, the order you tap them in overlaps the arrows so what the hell do I do?!

Just follow them, my friend and then await your bonus...

Rhythm traps? Aren't they just "tap the buttons in the right order within the time limit"?

Just tap the sequence shown on the screen......until the whole line is finished, then you get your reward.

It's better than throwing a rock....

No, that's tap the sequence.
This one is the complete the pattern, but the thing is when I tap in what I think is the sequence I fail because my dirrections overlap the PREMADE sequences.

I'm not completely sure I understand your problem, but eh. I can always try.

With the sequence ones, you're supposed to match the directions it gives exactly. It's not a pattern, or anything like that.

I agree with you, but remember taht if you lose the rythm you will lose the bonus, also you can lose some of your status like HP....

...that's the case with all button input events, no matter which kind.

Rhythm traps are easy.

Timing ones are hard.

Wait, are these the ones with the line and the moving dot and the buttons above the line? I've hated those ever since the damn rock-skipping thing in Mireno's underground lake.

Anyway, if that's what it is, all you have to do is wait until the dot moves underneath each icon and then tap whatever button that icon represents right as the dot passes under it. If there's nothing above the dot, don't push anything. It's kinda like DDR... with your fingers. >>

I hated that! I did that for like an hour and nothing happened!

It is evil, most definitely. But if you keep doing it for like forty sequences or something your rock makes it to the other end and kills a skeleton fencer. And then you get a crapload of points. Unless you're aiming for a high score and have a rock to burn, it's totally not worth it.

I'M SO GONNA DO THAT NOW.
