Lacrima Castle _ Movies and Television _ More Futurama!

Posted by: Dr Sturm Mar 20 2006, 12:52 AM

According to http://slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=06/03/19/1417253&from=rss (citing Futurama voice actor Billy West), 26 new episodes will soon enter production. And even better news, is that previous rumours, that it would be straight to DVD, are NOT true.

Fantastic news. Although, I still need to go and pick up the current Futurama DVDs so I don't have to stay up for Adult Swim every night.

I never buy the DVDs for any TV shows. Still, nice to hear.

They'd better have some good Zoidburg humour in there. Rawr.

*Crosses fingers for more Robot Devil*

Nothing can beat the Robot Hell song!

Oh yes it can.

"Destiny has cheated me,
By, forcing me to decide upon
The woman that I idolize,
and the hands of an, automaton"

Ah this sucks.
Apparently Billy West was wrong. It will be four movies, straight to DVD, instead of 26 new episodes on TV.
Oh well. Still more Futurama.

O.o; Woot. I might go get them later...as in, about a year after they're released. xD

Guess what, I can tell the future. I announced it two years in advance: Comedy Central will have 26 new episodes of Futurama to start airing in 2010. FUCKING BOMB SHIT YES
Considering how awesome the movies were, I have no worries about them being crappy like the new episodes of Family Guy turned out to be.
Also making this a general Futurama thread, and... Go.

I didn't watch the movies
why is a good question.

I have yet to grow tired of futurama even after the movies.

I always felt it died too early, so this is great news.

Reading this thread is a wild ride of disappointment and joy. Very happy about the original voice actors.
