So yeah, it's like out now. I guess you can talk about it... although I'm pretty sure you don't have the game yet...
Apparently they fixed PLATER'S UNIT. :(
SO I THINK THIS GAME IS TOO SPANISH OR WHATEVER FOR ME. It's not a bad game but I'm not having very much fun with it so I'm not playing through it very fast. So someone else can spoil everything... EXCEPT NOBODY ELSE IS PLAYING YET. :( It's like. An SRPG. Where you can hax the clock, summon angry Iwanagamonsters, and do combo attacks if you've got Tactics Points. Capture the flags etc. BASICALLY IT'S EXACTLY HOW IT WAS DESCRIBED.
Except the music is way too quiet and so far I think I've only liked two songs. I'm sure this disappointment is Kitten's fault. And I have a lot of whinings with the way actions are handled. Like, you can only act once each time your turn comes around (which is going to be pretty often so I guess it doesn't matter) and even if you choose to not move and just do something, you still get 4 wait or whatever for your act of not moving, so that's pretty lame. I also can't attack and then move, or just do one thing with one character and do the other thing with a different character. You know, whine whine whine.
BUT HEY IT HAS SOME REALLY SHINY EFFECTS FOR STUFF AND ELISE LIKES APPLECOTS.
According to some Wiki I found, the number of scenes is:
I'll choose the exact opposite choices from yours and see what happens. Once I get my hands on the game, anyway.
The game is hard T_T
So yeah, I made some good progress and thought I should report in about the choices. I made all the opposite choices from Rhia's up to
Are there any notable, useful spells? So far all of the ones I have access to are too situational. Unless I want to nuke my party every battle.
Also I've been only picking the first option,
It's more about timing or how you're using the environment. Sometimes the enemies won't really be able to go anywhere (though it's... yeah, really situational) but I've actually used spells just to make the enemies freak out and leave before. <_< Then again, I'm probably the only person who would do that. So stick to using them when you know most of your targets won't be acting until it casts.
PLUS THERE WERE AREA-HEALING SPELLS. Maybe those are useful. I never had access to them long enough (since I gave up playing this game forever) to use them much.
In the beginning, non-Gungnir spells are not so useful because they take so much time to come out. Gungnir stuff is pretty useless anyway, IMO. Later on, the enemy will start having a much longer Wait Time, so spells start becoming more useful from that point on.
Cast Time reducing rings/arms are a must for spellcasters. I like using my Sorceress's Rod Skill IV, since that skill has a pretty big range.
Also, I beat the game, but I think I got a bad end. I stopped playing after that.
I gave the Alchemist some sort of cast-reducing item (I think), so he casts the area heal pretty quickly. It was useful for my first encounter with a cannon.
wow this game is hell in scene 10.
Does anyone know the link to the japanese wiki of gungnir? I tried looking for it and I don't really have much luck, and I kinda needed it to figure out item effects. Like the sword thing (you don't really equip but is in baggage section) support for HP but I can't seem to use it D:
try http://cs-wiki.net/gungnir/, it helped me a lot...
thank you :)
