SO IT'S OUT AND ACTUALLY HAS BEEN FOR A WHILE NOW. It's actually pretty good. And for all those haters and pseudo-haters, it doesn't really feel like an Idea Factory game at all, at least to me. Pretty sure the music is from Shigeki Hayashi, too, though I can't actually confirm that since I can't find any staff information on the stupid official site. All they care about is voice actors. Speaking of those here have a list of them (you are a greater person than me if you recognize even one of them, and official romanizations end when you see Charizard so call those characters whatever you want, especially if it's blatantly wrong like I'm hoping most of these are):
Claude: Takuya Satou
Yuri: Akane Fujita
Dominick: Mai Gotou
Olivia: Ayumi Fujimura
Morgan: Tomoyuki Higuchi
Marlene: Eri Inagawa
Ryan: Takashi Oohara
Sasha: Yuka Inokuchi
Marlon: Kousuke Takaguchi
Lucy: Tomo Adachi
Charizard/Daruzaado: Tomoyuki Higuchi
Keroro: Tomotaka Hachisuka
Heath: Hitoshi Yanai
Busk/Basuku: Kousuke Takaguchi
Phednes/Fedonesu: Tsuguo Mogami
Lonetto/Ronetto: China Kitahara
Larry Lala/Reri Rara: Takashi Oohara
Angellna/if it's something else I'll kill myself: Tomoko Kobashi
Demetri: Atsushi Abe
Sherry/Shelly: Noriko Ueda
Dullaban: Tomotaka Hachisuka
Wildmore/Wirudomoa: Masayuki Katou
Weird/Wiado: Tsuguo Mogami
Gary/Geirii: Masayoshi Sugawara
If you were wondering about the gameplay, IT TURNS OUT PPA IS RIGHT except wait stop leaving! I promise it's better than YZ! It's got way more depth to its system! Stuff gets crazy (you have to dodge bullets)! Instead of drawing numbers with Japan's messed up idea of stroke order you press circle at the right times! Different weapons have different patterns for that, too. Different amounts of times you need to press circle for maximum effect, different shapes, different speeds (sometimes speed that changes half way through, which is why I suck at guns and scythes). Also you can summon things. Kinda cool I guess.
Also, you do everything outside of battle with AP, which you get from killing enemies and capturing/destroying objects in battle. You use it to upgrade your weapons, you use it to heal your characters (which you never have to do unless they were really really low on health or something in the last fight), and you can use it to give people more EXP... actually I'm lying, you use it to give them more AP. But they level up with AP (which they gain from battles separately from the free-use AP you get). You can also convert items to AP, which is nice when you get like five copies of an armor you wouldn't want to equip to anyone anyway.
I'm only on chapter 3. Ask me anything.

OOH DOUBLE POST SCARY SCARY. Nobody else is going to post here anyways, at least until PPA or Starmie play it.
5-2B ruined my life so I'm posting now instead of waiting until I beat the game. IT'S NOT LIKE I GOT A GAME OVER OR ANYTHING BUT I CAME WAY TOO CLOSE BECAUSE OF BAD LUCK (getting stunned constantly) and all these stupid children using weapons that guarantee a knockback (except only when I'm stunned). All the stuff the ballistas/lasercannon/boss were shooting didn't help, either.
I got all the summons though, so information on what they do and how to get them (none of them have anything to do with the story):

They're listed in the game's order, so if you can't read you can find out what to call them and what they do... or if you're missing one you can find out what it is/how to get it. There's only three you have to worry about, though (Iron God, Demon Bunny, and Valkyrja), since everything else is gotten from leveling Claude up. Also: For those three, most of the instructions on getting them were just translated from
http://d.hatena.ne.jp/emukyon/20120722/1342896611 (they play Kitten and Gungnir too, they're our bro!). So I might not be able to help if you're having problems finding an event point, since I actually only used that for the last step for Valkyrja and managed to get everything else on my own. And foolishly wrote little down! Also I hate all of my translations unless they involve katakana, so there you go.
I'll also edit some of these when I get more details on specifics of how they work, since I'm not sure about stuff like range most of the time and I haven't actually used all of them yet.
- Water Dragon (水竜)
Costs 1 gauge. Makes all enemy units move really slowly for 20 seconds. You get Water Dragon when Claude is level 15. - Vermillion (バーミリオン)
Costs 1 gauge. Makes the weapon matchups of all allied units "GOOD" for 90 seconds. You get Vermillion at level 18. - Chronos (クロノス)
Costs 1 gauge. Reverses the time of day. You get Chronos at level 12. - Iron God (鉄神)
Costs 3 gauge. Makes all allied units take halved damage for 150 seconds. To get Iron God, you need to do a lot of things. In 1-4's second battle, get 鋼鉄のネジ from visiting an event point at the upper left part of the screen. In 2-1's second battle, trade that item for 鋼鉄の腕 at an event point located in an upper right direction from the event point left of your base... or something around there, anyway. After clearing 2-2, do a Free Battle. There's a hidden event point here but the instructions confuse me. Something about the left side of the upper right side of the cannon at the right end of the screen? If you keep looking, you're bound to find it eventually. You'll trade that last item for 鋼鉄の胴体. Then, at 2-3's second fight, trade that for 鉄神の像 at the event point at the lower left. That'll let you summon him. Yay! - Wind Spirit (風の精霊)
Costs 2 gauge. Fully heals all allied units. You get this automatically on 1-4. - Demon Bunny (うさぎ魔神)
Costs 3 gauge. Makes all allied units move really fast for 90 seconds. There are two or three things you have to do to get this. First, on 4-1, you have to talk to some dude at the event point on the right side of the screen who got his carrots stolen (maybe. That blog I linked to earlier says it might not be necessary and I wouldn't know because I know I talked to him). Then you have to get 50 carrots. You pretty much only have two opportunities to do this and one is terrible, so forget about it until you clear 4-1. Then do that Free Battle repeateedly, because there are 20 hiyokos, each holding a carrot, in that stage. It's the only reasonable way to get 50. Once you've gotten 50, you can continue on with the game. At 4-3, at the lower right event point, you hand over 50 carrots and get a Magical Carrot, which will allow you to summon Demon Bunny. - Fenrir (フェンリル)
Costs 1 gauge. Deals damage to all enemy units who happen to be in the water (if there even is any water, so don't use it if there isn't any water on the stage, you silly goose). You get Fenrir automatically at the end of 1-4. Or maybe it has a really low level requirement, not sure. - Phoenix (フェニックス)
Costs 3 gauge. Your impact circle becomes XL sized, regardless of Attack Chance performance or weapon choice or anything else, for 90 seconds. You get Phoenix at level 24. - Demon Dragon (竜魔神)
Costs 2 gauge. Damages all enemies in an area centered around Claude. You get Demon Dragon automatically on 1-4. - Valkyjra (ヴァルキュリア)
Costs 3 gauge. Damages random enemies to 1 HP (with some exceptions -- I'm sure it means it won't do a thing to boss enemies). You have to do stuff to get Valkyrja. First, in 2-1's second battle, go to the event point left of your base to get 始まりの石盤. On 2-4, get 革命の石盤 from the event point at the top part of the screen. On 3-6's first battle, get 聖女の石盤 from the event point below the enemy base. Then on 5-1, go to the event point at the lower left side of the screen to trade those three items for 乙女の甲冑, which allows you to summon her. - Death God (死神)
Costs 2 gauge. Makes random enemies retreat (with some exceptions). You get this at level 21. - Demon Skull (髑髏魔神)
Costs 2 gauge. Stuns all enemy units. You get this at level 8 and it's your best friend. - Dark Angel (暗黒天使)
Costs 2 gauge. Destroys random enemy-controlled bases/objects. Of course, they can't destroy their main base, and they also can't destroy those basey forty places that you can recapture from enemies. You get this at level 10.
Also, Sasha is top tier when there's water around. Only Marlene ever seems to outdamage her when she's in the water... and she still doesn't always. 1.5x damage is great.

I promise this is my last post here until someone else posts something!
First, I edited the summons list to clarify stuff, mostly involving Death/Valkyrja/Dark Angel and Fenrir. Second, I beat the game! It was an awful last fight and I feel sorry for anyone who chose not use Sasha. That big old pond there, man. That big old pond. You really need the damage on that stage, and the only other person (out of the people I used, anyway) whose damage ever comes close to waterSasha is Marlene. It also wasn't poisoned water, unlike the last few stages that had water. That was really nice. Also, if anyone wants to know how to probably get each ending:

I'M PRETTY SURE I ENDED UP WITH THE GOOD ENDING BY CHOOSING THE SECOND OPTION FOR THE CHOICE AT THE END OF CHAPTER 6. The top choice is probably badendland. I'll confirm that when I actually play again.
[01:51:04] <PSIGuest-675623255> I WAS SO DISTRACTED BY THE FACT THAT THIS ENEMY WAS MISSING 1/3 OF ITS HP
[01:51:07] <PSIGuest-675623255> WHEN I HAVEN'T TOUCHED ANY OF THEM YET
[01:51:12] <PSIGuest-675623255> THAT I TOTALLY MESSED UP THAT ATTACK CHANCE :(
[01:51:42] <PSIGuest-675623255> DID NOT REALIZE SHERRY HAD FRIENDLY FIRE
Sums up my feelings on Sherry pretty well. Jerk needs to stop eating her own enemies. She actually healed herself from like, half HP to nearly full by doing that once. It was awful. I couldn't even safely go over to where she was to smack her around, and not just because she was draining HP at the time but because I needed to stay back to protect my bases from the other enemies.
And I know I said Demon Skull or whatever is your best friend, but it turns out nothing is better than Phoenix, especially when you're dealing with... AOE knockback from a boss sitting on his main base. Ugh.
SO, OTHER THINGS. SUCH A DOKIDOKI MOMENT FOR ME WHEN CLAUDE SAYS "SASHA" AFTER SHE JOINS. Except it never happens again because she's completely irrelevant to the story, just like everyone else who isn't Claude/Yuri/Dominick/maybeOlivia. Vampires have the best lines ("SONO CHI CHOUDAI" "KYOU DARE TABERU" "NINGEN ITADAKIMASU"), Rabid Beasts have the most hilarious voice acting ever and I meant to record it but I'm such a lazy lazy. I'm also glad I ended up using Morgan. He became super useful during chapter 7, if just because he could speed through forest terrain. Plus, he's the only person who uses a scythe. AND SCYTHES ARE XL, MAN. I CAN'T SAY NO TO XL.
Now, stupid useless list of all the classes I encountered (unless I forgot to write some down, which I know I did in the case of all those silly Hiyoko enemies) with the weapons they use, and also a note of any playable characters of that class:
