That's dumb. The subtitle doesn't make it sound like that at all. Or something. I was actually highly anticipating that this was all it was. But I'm still upset. And I'll still buy both the Japanese and English versions of it.
Time for an official announcement...

Well, the way Sting does ports, it can't be all that easy.
Check the http://lacrimacastle.net/index.php?sec=gateway for what's new in each Dept. Heaven remake. Adding that stuff (for the PSP remakes) couldn't have been easy.
I don't think we yet know if they are going the quick and dirty or comprehensive route for this remake. I personally don't care either way as long as the price is inline with quality of the finished product.

Hopefully it does come out in English. I am getting the game for my birthday since my birthday is on the 16th. My friends are going to buy it for me.
I heard its about $60.00 in U.S. Currency if you buy it O.o

That's true that the gameplay is odd, but now it seems more of a strategy game. However, since I can't seem to get enough of Yggdra Union, I'll buy it!

Yggdra Union was much more of a strategy game than this. This is more like elementary RTS-number doodling game.

So basically this game is Spectral Force Genesis. Which I didn't like. And probably had better out-of-combat management stuff than this game has. On the bright side, the combat systems in both games are equally unpleasant for me.
More importantly, how can they charge over 6000 yen for a DS game that was formerly a cell phone game and is only... 32 MB in size? I am so happy I did not try to buy this. :( And they'll be happy to know I'll stop playing their game that I didn't pay for.

I THINK Sting emailed me about a site update talking about Mistel and Nessiah being playable (and I know for sure Mistel is playable), but I hate the site and can't find anything about it. :(

I tried it and it ruined my Sims 2 case so I am really scared to do it to Riviera...
I never bought the original of Yggdra Union. I just found it without a case.

Probably lackluster gameplay coupled by finicky number-recognizing system, and the fact that it's totally not worth the price amount Sting is selling it for.

Well basically you have "checkpoints/base" and you have to reach that base to defeat the enemy. So let's say for example, there are 2 flags, then some random stuff littered in the map, like let's say cities and stuff.
You can dispatch more units via Yggdra Flag and then selecting a character, to attack you have to pick the character and point the cursor to the enemy, and stuff like that, for union attacks, they have to be within inside this circle or something or attack them together, I really couldn't get it right now because of disappointment. They also move at a snail's pace that it gets boring VERY FAST. Once you finished attacking the enemy and he survived, well, both of you go blinking mode for a moment, meaning immune and can't be attacked, and well, that's a big problem if you want to stop an enemy from reaching your base heh.
And yeah I just couldn't bring myself to enjoy the battle system, it really made me sad and I am really surprised at how STING could mess this up...

I bought my Riviera and Yggdra Union for $14.99.
