Ledah is the best because he acts like nothing is holding him back because he feels nothing I think that's why he can heal himself in the beginning of the game

I'm pretty sure Ledah's HP regeneration is due to the Immoral Rosary. That and Chapter 1 being the tutorial chapter; so that it's near impossible to get a Game Over.
